A connoisseur of music in the Charlotte area is well aware of the NODA neighborhood. It is a historic district of arts, entertainment, breweries, eating establishments, pubs and bars. It is a very cool part of Charlotte.
Me and Typhephia treated ourselves back in June to a night in NODA capped with a concert by the one and only Todd Snider. Snider is a lyricist extraordinaire and a helluva songwriter. His shows are purely entertaining with narratives and stories, laughter and good music! And even his dog chills out on the stage with him during the show!
His show was held at a very unique venue...The Neighborhood Theater. This place holds just under 1000 folk (and it was packed for the Snider show) and includes seating (no tables) in rows before the stage plus a roped VIP section with tables to the right of stage and elevated from the main floor. Beside that is a full service bar. Oh, there is also balcony seating.
Trust us, if one of your favorites ever books this place and you are within a reasonable drive to Charlotte, NC, go for it. It is a great chill but busy neighborhood with a really cool theater dedicated to music. Good stuff!! Two Thumbs Up!!
